What I have found is that most people are looking to feel significant, connected, validated, and content. People are exhausted trying to maintain a perfect lifestyle, raise the best kids, be the best spouse, friend, and volunteer they can be. They are trying to look amazing and maintain joy while doing everything for everyone else. Without even meaning to, people are piling more “to do’s” on the list, more pressure on their life, and more expectations on those around them. And, at the end of the day, they feel tired, resentful, underappreciated, and are dreading the next day when they have to do it all over again.
