As a licensed marriage and family therapist, and drug and alcohol counselor I have 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and children who are trying to improve their lives but sometimes just feel stuck in the process. I have also worked with those suffering from the pain of substance use disorders. Life is like a river that simply wants to move through us. At times, the river may damn up or take an unexpected turn. Therapy can be a resource that reestablishes the “flow” of life and returns us to our true course. My intent in the therapeutic session is to provide an expansive environment for growth to occur, at various levels, as well as to assist those who want to simply find solutions to various problem states.
