“Just a small-town girl, living in a lonely world…” Hi there! I never thought I’d have a good excuse to use a Journey song as my introduction, but here we are! I am a small-town girl; I grew up in Willard, graduated from Willard, and have returned. While driving home for Christmas in 2015, I realized Willard needed a counseling center–and I have officially taken the leap! My hope is this can help Willard and the smaller surrounding towns not have to drive all the way to Springfield. “Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable…” – Mr. Fred Rogers Like the Journey song, I realize the world can be a terribly lonely, scary, devastating, hard place at times; sometimes it’s because of our own choices, or sometimes it’s because of choices other people have made and have hurt us. Either way, the hurt is real, and it deserves to be seen and healed. No problem is too big or small. I am excited to meet you! I can honestly say I love what I do, and I am thankful for that. My goal is to always have that passion show in my work with you. I will be welcoming, interactive, and–best of all–human!
