Therapist Overview
I believe healing is relational and my privilege is helping individuals, couples, and families create interactions and relationships that are healing. It’s not easy work, but the work that happens in therapy can be life changing. I help clients deepen and transform the ways they think, feel about, and experience themselves and their relationships. My own life experiences shape my therapeutic view to be empathetic and understanding to the tragedies and heartache of life while empowering clients in using their own strengths and resources on the path of healing. I use empirically based, attachment-focused treatment including Emotionally Focused Therapy. I utilize other interventions and treatment from John Gottman, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and Lifespan Integration.
