My clients would likely say I’m open minded and down to earth. 20 years of experience have taught me respectful understanding is absolutely key in working with clients as they seek to understand their circumstances, feel better, and proactively engage in their lives. My main area of work has been supporting adolescents and adults with emotional difficulties, traumatic events, decision making and coping skills for expected life transitions – school, career, “adulting”. I work in tandem with clients as they identify their own needs, challenges, and goals. My approach is kind and interactive while encouraging self-reliance. Working with an experienced professional can benefit how we manage relationships, understand / evaluate ourselves, and navigate school / work / career. We can all get stuck in chronic impatience, irritability, self-defeating thoughts / actions or long-standing inaction often not knowing how we got there.
