Therapist Overview
I have always had an interest in not only how our minds, bodies, and spirits are connected, but also what takes place when an imbalance exists and then how to implore healing. I look at an individual through a holistic lens, and use this approach, when appropriate. As part of this holistic approach, I have the belief that as a part of the world and universe in which we live, that we are all, interconnected and operate as a part of a dynamic system. I am especially interested in how mindfulness practices, yoga, animals, and nature, might influence the ideas of acceptance and non-judgment, and overall, positively affect an individual. I offer Telehealth/video counsel (as well as in-person) with an integrative, person-centered, CBT, strengths-based approach in a safe and nonjudgmental space. I provide trauma-informed care to individuals and am an EMDR trained therapist. I also provide animal/equine-assisted psychotherapy when desired and appropriate for the client. I believe that we all have an inner wisdom that is sometimes overlooked or simply forgotten. I look forward to working with individuals in a non-judgmental, safe space, while assisting in discovering and/or restoring their own inner trust and balance, and providing guidance on a path to inner peace, growth, and overall, wellbeing.
