I enjoy helping patients improve their lives. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I specialize in depression and anxiety that stems from relationship issues, peer issues, work problems, and school issues. Through education, life experiences, a family of my own, and a great deal of empathy, I feel that I can offer unique and confidential treatment. I have worked within private practices, hospitals, trauma centers, hospices and schools. Before counseling, I worked in academics, teaching, and financial institutions. I aim to provide my patients with the highest quality of care possible. I am a therapist in a private downtown Wheaton location. I work with individuals in a confidential collaborative, empathetic relationship (individuals, adolescents, couples/families, groups using CBT, DBT, ACT and other approaches). Therapy is my passion; it is a protected communication/connection that produces change giving you freedom from emotional pain.
