Therapist Overview
Want a therapist that flexes and adapts to your needs, goals, and style? I believe it is my job to learn about and conform to what my clients need, whether it’s a more laid-back listening-oriented style or a more directive goal-oriented style. Your counseling process should be completely unique to who you are as a person, couple, or family and you should be encouraged to sit in the driver’s seat. I am comfortable using a variety of therapy modalities and love creating tailored therapeutic experiences that “fit just right” for all of my clients. I am also open to discussing holistic options including diet, exercise, and spirituality. Providing “male-friendly” counseling is something I strongly believe in, as men typically feel much less comfortable in the counseling room than women. My philosophy regarding men’s issues has been shaped by Robert Glover’s No More Mr. Nice Guy theory as well as material from Jocko Willink and Jordan Peterson. Whether you’re an individual, couple, or family, I want to help you find what you’re looking for- more meaning in life, more happiness, more peace, or better connections with others…all of which are possible. You have many strengths within you- it will be my pleasure to help you learn how to use them wisely and get what you want out of life.
