By day, I support educators and schools to redesign education to prioritize belonging, meaning, and purpose as the foundation of true learning. By night, I teach a class at Brown University called, “Designing Your Life on Purpose” aiming to support college students through decisions that will bring true meaning and joy to their lives. I have spent over a decade working to influence systems that have historically disenfranchised people based on race and income to create environments where we all can truly belong. I studied under the experts of strengths development, Dr. Shane Lopez and Dr. Rick Snyder, and I have contributed to research investigating how hope positively impacts well-being. I am a trained trauma-informed clinician and the foundation of my approach is deeply rooted in collaboration.
