Young people and their families often encounter challenges as they navigate the childhood and adolescent developmental periods. My approach to therapy and assessment is grounded in developmental science and family systems perspectives, and takes into account the ways that children’s needs evolve over time and are embedded within and influenced by the broader family context. I take a strengths-based approach to individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, parent management training, and psychological assessment. I specialize in offering therapy and evaluation services to children, adolescents, and young adults. I offer evidence-based strategies for dealing with youth problem behaviors, risk taking, mood issues, and anxiety. I offer services in English or Spanish, and enjoy working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
