I have over twenty five years of experience in the mental health field and specialize in grief and loss, women’s issues, PTSD, depression, anxiety, family dynamics, military and combat trauma. I began my training as a mental health professional at The Menninger Clinic and completed my formal education in Topeka at Washburn University. Often times a crisis can be a call to personal growth and development. Together, we’ll work to gain a deeper sense of understanding of your unique set of circumstances. My goal is to provide a positive experience as you work towards the change you are seeking and for you to know you are not alone. If you are looking for guidance and support in navigating life’s challenges it takes courage to ask for help. Your story is unique to you and there is no one size fit’s all approach to healing. In guiding you to back to a greater sense of balance and stability, I use a holistic approach that incorporates a blending of best evidence based practices including Morita therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused and trauma informed modalities. I specialize in women’s issues, family dynamics, depression, anxiety, PTSD, combat and military trauma. Together well spend time understanding the set of circumstances that led you to seeking help. I use a strengths based approach with each client that I work with. I have over 25 years of experience the mental health field and have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.
