Since 1984, relationships have been the focus of my practice. I’m so glad you’re looking for support to enhance and deepen the trust and intimacy of yours. We’ve learned a lot about what it takes to help couples create and sustain healthy relationships today. The stresses of life make ruptures and upsets inevitable. It is a choice and a skill to repair at these times and strengthen your bond. I love helping relationships change and blossom with new understanding and with an opportunity, with guidance, to learn and practice the skills that develop and sustain a loving relationship that supports the ongoing growth of each person. In addition to individual couple counseling sessions, I offer a 5 session class (Fri 7:30-9:30pm; Sat 9:30am-5:00pm), every other weekend) for married and/or committed couples in any stage of relationship. The information and skills learned can strengthen all significant relationships – partners, children, family, friends, co-workers. Wholehearted relationships are skilled. You can learn how to reduce defensiveness, deepen trust, develop your ability to listen, feel genuine empathy for your partner instead of secret resentment, express upsetting feelings without hurting each other or your relationship and learn new ways to enhance intimacy and express caring.
