Much of life’s pain is caused by traumas that we go through. Times that you were hurt or forced to cope with something that felt overwhelming and highly threatening. Transition periods in life are particularly difficult. That might include navigating life through our teen years and into early adulthood or dealing with an overwhelming change in life. Through therapy we will work to navigate emotions yet more importantly the work will be on healing and gaining strength For the last six years my experience has involved providing mental health services to adolescents, teenagers, adults and families. As a therapist my goal is to walk with you through whatever you are having difficulty with. I have experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, behavioral issues, OCD and life changes. Using an evidence-based approach to understand your story and support you through what you are working to overcome; my approach is strengths-based and includes elements of family systems, ACT, DBT, CBT and expressive therapies.
