Therapist Overview
“When reflecting on my work as a psychotherapist, I am more inclined to think of myself as a midwife to the soul than a counselor. My strongest hope when we stand at the end of your therapeutic journey is that you will own and honor the beautiful metamorphosis from the person you were to the person you always knew you could be.” Working with adolescents is my passion, but I also find great fulfillment seeing adults, couples, facilitating groups, and providing educational presentations for the community. I have lead psycho-educational training’s on dream therapy, ADHD 101, ADHD in the classroom, the adolescent brain, and parenting the adolescent’s brain. My interests include anxiety management, depression, grief and loss, trauma issues, adult children of alcoholics, ADHD/ODD, LGBTQ issues, peer relational issues, women’s issues, parent/teen relationships, and couples. I also have a wealth of experience partnering with schools.
