I work with individuals; teens, young adults, and adults on a variety of issues including, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, grief, and anger. I have a passion for working with First Responders, Medical Personnel, other Counselors, Foster Parents & Military. I am currently seeking certification as a First Responder Associate counselor and have experience and understanding of the culture and experiences of First Responders including, police, firefighters, hospital workers, EMS, social workers, and other counselors. I have extensive training to work with foster/adoptive and natural parents who parent challenging children. My Master’s degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; my Bachelor degree is in Religion, with a minor in Criminal Justice– all from Liberty University. I have experience working in residential treatment, foster care, acute care, specialized crisis and teaching/training. Currently taking First Responder Training. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, non-judging, and eclectic. I draw from a variety of modalities to provide a custom plan for you to achieve your goals.
