MCMH is a small group practice offering Individual, Couples, Family, and Group Counseling for ages 5+.
Therapist Overview
Our providers are diverse in their approaches to counseling and specializations, increasing our ability to address a variety of concerns. Some of the techniques used by our providers include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapist, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Play therapy, Solution-Focused, Internal Family System, and Systemic Family therapy.
We strive to offer collaborative care that addresses concerns within each client’s identified goals for treatment through treatment planning and transparency in the techniques being used in session. Our approaches are evidenced based and found to be effective in treating many concerns such as family and relationship dysfunction, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, adjustment disorders and more.
Accessibility to care is often difficult in mental health, whether it be availability of appointments, waitlists, distance, etc. Therefore, we offer in person and tele-mental health options where appropriate as well as a variety of appointment times to include evenings and weekends.
The client/counselor relationship is crucial to the success of counseling so we understand the impact this can have on treatment and work to ensure the proper fit through initial intake questions, 30 minute free phone consultations, and attention to client need and counselor approach.
We accept many major insurance companies such as BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Tricare-West, and will be able to accept Kaiser in the near future. We also accept private pay, offer a sliding scale to those who qualify, are partnered with Open Path Collective and accept Out of network benefits through Thrizer who assists in submitting out of network claims so the client does not have to.
Please note: The individual listed as the provider in this profile is one of several.
