Therapist Overview
I enjoy working with diverse individuals, couples and families with a variety of presenting concerns. People may seek therapy to cope with challenges, gain insight, or make changes in personal lives or relationships. Forming a collaborative therapeutic relationship with every client is central to my work. Grounded in person-centered, existential and mindfulness-based practice, I am especially interested in personal values and the process of finding meaning in life. My role is to help people learn more about themselves and what they are struggling with in order to act in ways consistent with their own values. The decision to reach out for help often follows attempts to work through a problem individually or with friends/family. It is thus not unusual for people to feel stuck at the outset of therapy. Even so, I assume people are the experts on their own experiences and have the capacity to solve their own problems, and we work together to make positive change. I practice with a group of psychologists and ENCOURAGE YOU TO VISIT OUR WEBSITE FOR A WEALTH OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
