Therapist Overview
I work with clients who may be experiencing fears, shame, guilt, anger, worry, depression, anxiety, the results of trauma, and those who need a stronger sense of self, value, direction, and hope. My goal is to see you become fully alive as who you are and to enjoy your life to the fullest. I am eclectic in my approach and often use a combination of person-centered, positive, psychological techniques combined with teaching clients scientific, practical methods for retraining neural pathways and changing unhelpful thought patterns into life-giving ones. I delight in the unique process of learning from and with each client. I believe wholeheartedly that there is no such thing as a broken person, brain, or mind, but that we are all in the process of growing and benefit tremendously from having others help us along the way. I am dedicated to providing counseling to help each client achieve their personal, social, relational, emotional, career, and spiritual developmental goals. Some of my focuses include deep emotional healing, identity strengthening, career and life direction clarification, discovering the answer to “why do I exist and what does it matter to mankind?”, neuropsychotherapy, and Christian spiritual care.
