Therapist Overview

As a licensed clinical social worker I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults and their families and think of myself as a facilitator of empathy, hope and change. I am an attachment based therapist and work with individuals who have experienced developmental trauma, are struggling with anxiety and depression, anger issues, are engaging in self-harm behaviors and struggling with complex trauma. In addition to this, I specialize in working with the traumatic loss of a loved one and working with young adults who are navigating the world of adulthood and struggling with unresolved wounds from childhood. I use a variety of evidenced based therapeutic interventions in my clinical work, including (but not limited to): CBT, DBT, mindfulness, IFS and trauma based interventions and inner child work. I utilize a combination of individual and family therapy in my work with children. Finding a therapist for yourself and/or your child can be a first step in the change process, an act that takes courage and faith. I encourage you to call or email me with questions and to discuss your hopes and challenges to determine if I am a good fit for working with you and/or your child and family.
