Some people know exactly what they are looking to accomplish, others are not so sure. Maybe you are desperate for peace in life. Maybe you just do not know how to communicate anymore, you are alone, or you need to talk about a loved one. I’m here to sort through it with you. Usually, talk therapy is what’s needed to raise your own awareness, express your emotions, and welcome healing or change. On occasion, people are all talked out or don’t have the words. So, they use miniatures in a sandtray to communicate and we go from there. Either way, this is a safe space to unpack. Since 2003 I have been a social worker, mainly serving in foster care and with displaced veterans before finding my fit in marriage & family therapy. I pull from Love and Logic, the Gottman Method, and systems theory. I believe in your strengths and will remind you of them.
