Therapist Overview

Going through tough experiences is hard enough, going through tough experiences while feeling alone and unconnected can be even more daunting. I take a person-focused approach, where you are the expert in your life. I integrate play with the therapeutic alliance while treating several disorders including depression and anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

Our lives can sometimes feel like they are outside of our control. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, frustration, trauma, or lack of motivation I hope to help you become more empowered and regain control of your life. Together we will explore areas of your life that you would like to work on, improve, heal from, need support, or process.

I believe in working in collaboration with you, where together we determine how I can best help you. I am passionate about empowering clients, helping them regain control over their lives and giving them tools that can be incorporated into their daily lives. I believe in working on issues you have identifed while also building on the strengths you already have. Each client is unique and therefore each approach to therapy is unique. I use a wide variety of treatment methods including trauma-based methods, worksheets, mindfulness, art therapy, and play therapy (and many more).

Walk through this tough journey with someone on your team, you don’t have to do this alone.
