Therapist Overview
Trauma and severe life stressors often affect people for many years, sometimes from child to adult. Deep in the unconscious mind, thoughts and feelings may bubble over into physical pain and or emotional distress, disconnecting you from yourself and others. When this occurs, you can feel lost, alone, and out of control, but you don’t have to stay stuck. My passion is supporting your healing — your journey back to wellness and wholeness. It is an honor and a privilege for me to hear you and work to calm your storm, allowing you to grow in new and powerful ways. I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan in 2017 and hold certifications in Psychological First Aid, TF-CBT, and Nonprofit & Public Management. I have also been trained in the evidence-based interventions of EMDR, Gottman, IFS, the Sanctuary Model of Care, Cognitive Therapies, and Mindfulness. I work with adolescents to adults, couples, families, and groups.
