Therapist Overview
I am passionate about working with teens and tweens, and their families. In particular, I love to work with twice exceptional and gifted children and adolescents, as well as kids and teens who have been diagnosed with learning differences. Navigating the developmental stages of childhood and adolescence can be difficult and can feel overwhelming for kids, teens and families. Young people and their families can benefit from the guidance and support of a caring and unbiased professional while they explore challenges such as school difficulties, peer relationships and conflicts, family conflict, divorce, depression, and anxiety. In addition to private practice, I have worked in educational and community mental health settings. I have extensive experience with public school special education systems and I understand the complexity of those systems, including the supports and the challenges, that can be a part of special education and IEP services. I love working with teens and tweens, and
