Therapist Overview
Seeking out therapy is often difficult. I am here to offer a safe, confidential, and supportive space to share and ask for help. I believe in empathic, and strengths based therapy and view treatment from a holistic perspective. I join clients who are working with a number of difficulties at various stages in their lives, including children and adolescents, women, and families. I specialize in addressing anxiety, body dysmorphia and OCD, perinatal mental health, birth, parent-child interaction, and behavioral disorders. In our work together I often incorporate CBT, mindfulness-based techniques, narrative therapy, solutions-focused therapy, and therapeutic yoga including Progressive Muscle Relaxation and guided meditation. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is paramount and requires a great deal of trust. My priority is connecting in a genuine manner that fosters encouragement, strengths building, and self understanding.
