I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive work with teenagers, individuals, families and couples counseling. I have been trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapy. I feel that seeking therapy shows tremendous inner strength and character! I feel it is an honor to walk with people in part of their journey of life where they may need some extra support or a fresh perspective on various situations. I am compassionate, solution-focused and feel incredibly passionate about being a LCSW and helping others to navigate their thoughts,emotions and behaviors in order to reach their goals. I use of a variety of therapeutic techniques in CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-based Therapy and Inner Child healing. I have training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy – Level 1, through The Gottman Institute. I also have training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy. I am a positive, energetic and compassionate person. I do use humor in sessions when appropriate, because laughter creates positive emotions and helps reduce anxiety.
