Life is difficult as is but when you add in the symptoms of depression, anxiety, or trauma it can feel impossible to cope. Unbeknownst to the people around you- you aren’t present. You’re trying to listen, to interact, but your head is full of busy thoughts. “I can’t handle this” you think. Danger lurks around every corner, or at least that’s how it feels. The world is a dangerous place. It shows up in relationships: you can’t trust, you self sabotage, you argue and get emotional over what seems like nothing.
