Therapist Overview
I understand therapy to be a journey that gives perspective and provides healing. An environment where those places in our lives held by fear, pain, and hopelessness have the potential to be reclaimed. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my sessions will work to help my clients orient their stories among the systems, families, and relationships that they exist in. We will work to look inward to understand the system within and how to unburden from past traumas and current stressors to be able to move forward instead of being stuck. I have history and specialization in working with trauma, dissociation, and working with foster and adoptive families and their children. I enjoy working with children, teenagers, adults, elders, and people of all sexual identities. I also very much welcome couples, and family sessions to work on any relational needs.
