Therapist Overview
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and earned my Masters in Social Work from Wheelock College (now a part of Boston University). I provide individual and family therapy to adolescents, parents/caregivers, adults, and couples. While a variety of models inform my practice (see “types of therapy” on the right), my work is fundamentally strengths-based and relational in style. To forge meaningful therapeutic relationships, I practice with honesty, empathy, humor, and endless curiosity. Above all else, I strive to create a space where people feel comfortable and safe to explore their thoughts & feelings. My goal is for all clients to feel seen, heard, understood, and believed. It is through such experiences that we find the courage to change our lives.
