Therapist Overview
Life is full of ups and downs, twists and turns, and forks in the road. Sometimes we feel stuck or like we’re not on the right path. Sometimes we’re overwhelmed or struggling to reach our goals. Sometimes painful feelings from the past just won’t leave us alone. During these times, therapy can help. Therapy provides a protected space for you to explore the changes you want to see in yourself and your relationships and to reflect on what might be getting in the way. It helps you identify and harness the strength and resilience you already possess. Therapy is a tool to help you move out of distress and toward healing and growth. I provide couple and individual therapy to adults dealing with a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, past trauma, and relationship conflict, as well as premarital counseling. We will work together to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships so you can step out of unhelpful patterns and into a more authentic life. Making the decision to come to therapy isn’t always easy and it can be difficult to choose a therapist. If you aren’t sure whether I’m a good fit for you, I encourage you to reach out to me or visit my website for even more information on who I am and how I work.
