I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who truly believes in a person’s ability to work through complications that arise throughout life’s different phases, overwhelming emotions, negative self-image, and relationships to regain control of their lives when given the right tools and skills. I work towards helping clients learn, practice, and apply those tools and skills in order to move towards a happier and healthier future. I love having the trust and ability to step into a client’s life in order to work together to reach their goals. I have experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in the intensive outpatient and regular outpatient settings. I also have experience working with individuals who are suffering from everyday issues to critical and crisis-related issues. I utilize techniques from solution-focused therapy, cognitive and dialectical therapy (CBT)/(DBT) It is can seem like a scary decision to talk to, essentially, a stranger about your life.
