It is easy to get accustomed to things being not so easy. You might be asking yourself, “how did things end up here?” Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to gain insight, learn new skills, and move forward toward feeling more happy, peaceful, and fulfilled. This is where our work begins. I have had the privilege of working with clients of all ages who have survived difficult life experiences and are actively seeking to continue their growth and to manage difficult emotions. Therapy is a safe channel in which we can restore healthy connections with ourselves and with others. While using an integrative approach, much of my experience lies in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy work. This means I believe both healthy and unhealthy patterns of our thinking hold power and often contribute to how we feel and how we behave. I would like us to become curious about these thoughts and learn to change some of the unhelpful ones! I believe strongly in each individual’s resilience, and I hope to provide you with a safe, supportive environment to address your concerns.
