I have successfully worked with both adult men and women who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and to address the complications that these experiences have negatively impact their intimate relationships. I specialize in providing couples counseling for professionals whose work relational abilities serve them well in their professional life, but these very same skills undermine their personal relationships. During treatment these professionals realize that as they become more relational with their partner they can use these same relational skills to become more effective in the work setting. If you are married or in a primary relationship I prefer to work with in a couples modality as sometimes individual therapy can undermine marriages as the client will grow as their partner is puzzled by the changes.
