Therapist Overview

I have a Master’s in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. My passion is working with couples to support their goals of deepening and enriching their emotional connection, exploring sexual issues, expanding communication skills, and understanding how one’s and one’s partner’s past experiences can continue to impact present-day interactions. Additionally, because I am systemically trained, I also work with families and individuals dealing with life struggles like feelings of inadequacy, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, and much more. I use a person-centered orientation to guide my work. My clinical approach utilizes the modalities of Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and The Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, of which I am Level I certified. I am also EMDR Trained, and integrate CBT/Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Experiential perspectives. Deciding to start therapy can be a difficult decision. I am honored to be included in your journey processing your experiences. I allow you to set the pace of your exploration and utilize my expertise to guide our conversation in a safe, empathic, and supportive environment.
