Having issues with your teens? Don’t worry it’s not you. The adolescent years can be brutal, especially for teens today who feel pressured by their peers and social media. As Dr. Stephen Illardi points out, we simply weren’t designed to live in such a fast-paced plugged in society. I help teens navigate thoughts and emotions that overwhelm them so that they can feel confident in their skin. The teens I work with go on to enjoy both emotional and academic success. I work with women as well. If you’re going through a major life transition like divorce, career change, or postpartum challenges, I’d love to work with you! You can’t heal the mind without being attuned to the body. Using a series of techniques from EMDR to DBT, I help clients identify negative thoughts, locate where pain and trauma live in their body, and learn ways to regulate unhealthy thoughts and emotions. I also offer a unique program for women who are eager to find more confidence and clarity. In my practice, I lead with being human first. I bring personal experiences and insights into the room, which effectively inspire and motivate my clients. It’s not your traditional one-sided converation. After years of pursuing excellence, from receiving high honors at UCLA to building a thriving business, I’ve learned the principles of balanced living.
