Therapist Overview

My name is Stephanie Fischer and I provide counseling to teens and adults in Yuba City. I work a lot with depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma/abuse issues. I also work with difficult teenagers, including teens who are suicidal and/or cutting. In addition, I work with individuals experiencing panic attacks, bipolar disorder, stress, relationship difficulties, grief & loss, LGBTQ+ Issues and much more. I believe everybody has the resources within to solve their struggles and it’s my job to help you access those resources and to start to live a healthy and fulfilling life. I am also an EMDR trained therapist and I’m an AATBS Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, which are both well researched therapies. EMDR, especially, can be a very beneficial therapy to treat trauma and PTSD issues and to get to the root of life-long difficulties. If you are interested in therapy, feel free to contact me at (530) 755-7851 or e-mail me at [email protected]. You can also view my websit
