Therapist Overview
Life does not always go according to plan. Sometimes we are faced with overwhelming challenges and you can’t see a clear path out. You don’t have to go through it alone. Your past does not have to define you. As you overcome your struggles, you will become stronger for the next obstacle that you will face. Whether you are struggling in your current relationships, feeling stuck in your past, or worried about your future, I will help you see and use your strengths to work on solutions and goals to move forward in your life. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, trauma, PTSD, and grief. After completing my MSW degree at Boston College, I worked with individuals who had a history of trauma, neglect, and abuse as a social worker for the Department of Children’s and Families in Massachusetts. Since 2015, I have worked in both residential and outpatient settings, currently providing individual therapy to teens and adults at Carole’s Hope. My past experience has given me a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges faced by adults and adolescents, as well as complicated family dynamics. I use a strength based approach , cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies to meet each unique individual where they are and help them to reach their goals.
