Therapist Overview
Sometimes life can fail to prepare you for the roadblocks that may lie ahead. Finding someone who can guide you to overcome these challenges with care and compassion doesn’t have to be as difficult. My practice focuses on working with adolescents, young adults and families that have experienced interpersonal conflict, relationship transitions, individual and family trauma, exposure to domestic violence, school motivational struggles and cultural assimilation issues. I use an individualized and eclectic approach combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and long and short-term trauma focused therapies to help you find balance in your life and attain your personal goals. I am a graduate of New York University School of Social Work with experience working in both schools and family practice clinics throughout the New York and Connecticut Metropolitan Area. I am bilingual in both English and Spanish. I offer complimentary phone consultations to assure that I can best suit your needs.
