My theoretical orientation is narrative via an attachment lens. I believe that epigenetic trauma predisposes a neurophysiological vulnerability to crisis management impairment and retraumatization. Therefore, I use mindfulness, motivational interviewing, ACT, CBT, EFT, genogram work and epigenetic exploration in my modalities of treatment. Counseling accesses a fundamental need we all have as humans: a desire to be understood, heard and in counterpart during difficult and joyous times.
