Therapist Overview
Throughout my many years of experience, I have seen many clients, each person with a unique set of circumstances to cope with. Anxiety and depression may factor into their life arc, some may be dealing with grief or past traumas, and others may have issues with their self-image. When assessing couples (I am both LPC and LMFT, so I frequently see clients with a variety of needs), I’ve noticed that the main issues that I offer assistance with tend to be communication issues that then lead to conflict. Clients that come to me actively want to improve their lives, and it is my pleasure to support them by meeting them where they are. For dealing with anxiety and depression, I teach stress-coping skills, and I am certified in Mind Body Medicine, offering a unique ability to effectively address a client’s needs. For couples, I use the Gottman method, and I teach how to manage conflict and how conflict can actually be an opportunity to expand one’s growth. I’m here to listen and meet you where you are, supporting you in your journey to growth and recovery. Wherever you are, there is always a way out. I’m here to validate you and to cultivate your potential to embark on a healing journey.
