“I am EMDR trained and provide therapy for trauma, occupational trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and addiction/recovery issues. The past 10 years I’ve worked in a residential substance abuse facility. I also provide guidance for eating disorders and/or gastric by-pass surgery. I recognize that each of you are unique human beings and that life can be difficult and painful. Together we seek your individualized plan for recovery. To discover your strengths and to help you get back on track and gain relief from life’s burdens. I have an extensive background in substance abuse treatment, Gestalt Therapy and Gorsky’s Relapse Prevention model since 2010. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) since 2018 & work with individuals experiencing trauma or PTSD. I am also trained in MI, CBT, ACT, and Clinical Hypnosis. I treat anxiety reduction and meditation. I am personally familiar with trauma and addiction recovery and the deep personal struggle of what it takes to get sober, develop coping skills and create a new and strong life.
