I provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I offer both in person sessions and virtual sessions.
Therapist Overview
Taking the first step of asking for help takes courage. In my work with Clients, I use a strength-based, compassionate, and goal-oriented approach to help people create the change they want in their lives. I believe that for therapy to be effective, it is essential to develop a trusting, collaborative, and non-judgmental relationship with Clients and Caregivers.
I am a Licensed (Independent) Clinical Social Worker in CT, PA, and RI. I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in 2009 and a Master’s degree from Southern CT State University in 2011. I also hold a Professional Certificate with the CT State Department of Education. I have an extensive background in working in regular and special education environments. I am a passionate advocate for children and adolescents with special needs and the services they require in the educational system.
Additionally, I hold a certificate in treating anxiety disorders, OCD, phobias, and trauma, and I have a background in treating those challenges as well as depression, interpersonal difficulties, unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and more. I am trained in treating trauma such as violence, abuse, neglect, natural disasters, automobile accidents, etc. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ population and with individuals of various cultures, backgrounds, and ethnicities.
