Therapist Overview
I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor and I provide individual therapy services to adults age 18 and up. I have experience providing psychotherapy in a private practice setting, specifically to young adults. I’ve worked with a range of clinical issues, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, self-esteem, and trauma. Using primarily a psychodynamic approach, I work with clients to reflect upon the influence of early life experiences on various aspects of their lives, particularly current life experiences. I also incorporate some elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed therapy, and other approaches as needed. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which therapist and client can discuss personal concerns, and where I can help clients gain insight and grow in order to achieve and maintain mental well-being.
