Therapist Overview
**Not taking new clients at this time*** Making changes can be overwhelming and daunting. Sometimes it can be hard to know where to even start. However, with support I believe that everyone is capable of taking the steps towards healing and growth that are right for them. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, adults and underrepresented populations. My work with these populations typically encompasses stress, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, sexual trauma, sexual exploitation, LGBTQ+ identity, ethnic identity, and relationship difficulties. I believe in approaching counseling with a holistic, multicultural, and intersectional lens so that clients benefit as much as possible. I am predominately trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). However, I like to integrate different evidence based treatments dependent on the client’s needs. My approach is collaborative and client centered. Ultimately, I want to guide and support clients through their healing and adjustments in the way they feel is most effective. I find it important to meet clients where they are and allow for therapy to be a place where they feel safe, comfortable, and respected.
