Therapist Overview
Belief: life is comprised of a multitude of experiences each shaping who we are and how we engage in the world around us. We have the ability to re-evaluate and transform difficult or traumatic experiences into something new; creating a more whole self. This takes work, a desire to self-reflect, and at times, move toward change. I am an EMDR practitioner and offer an integrative approach to therapy based on the needs of my client. I utilize evidence based practices and incorporate the mind-body connection to relieve symptoms of acute distress, develop new patterns of thinking and behavior, and assist clients on a path of healing. My role in the counseling relationship is to provide a safe space where judgement does not exist and the beauty of self-discovery, renewal, and acceptance is possible. We can work together to make better sense of your world.
