It is really difficult when you get to a point when you realize it is time to reach out and talk with someone. I approach counseling with a kind, compassionate ear that considers each person a unique being with strengths and skills to be tapped into. The goal of every counseling session is to begin where you need to start and finish with some relief and direction for the week all while creating a life you love. I have worked in a variety of settings, addressing different concerns and all ages. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people find peace and meaning in life, Interpersonal Therapy to look at conflicts with family, friends or major life changes and emotion-focused couple counseling to strengthen the love and bonding processes in couples.
