Therapist Overview
I like to think of therapy as a time to gain perspective. I think people can gain a “bird’s eye view” perspective of their own life from therapy. Most individuals that I have helped come to therapy because they are “stuck”. Maybe, they are stuck in the same behaviors or thoughts happening over and again. Maybe, they are stuck in the same situations, a pattern of anxiety or unhappiness. Therapy is a turning point in becoming “unstuck”, it is a time of growth and self discovery and perspective. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you more about my approach and how we can work together. As a previous School Social Worker, my experience lends specialized knowledge about working with kids, parents, and schools. For example, I have experience working with people that have: ASD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, etc. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and join you on your own journey of self discovery. At this time, only Teletherapy visits are available.
