Therapist Overview
I am a client-centered, creative therapist interested in a holistic approach. I am familiar with the issues faced by the LGBTQ community. I work with couples, families, and individuals offering support for: depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and relational issues. I have a soft spot for teens and truly love working with this population. I offer traditional talk therapy as well as expressive arts therapy and walk & talk therapy. In my cozy office, I offer a safe and confidential space to explore your needs. In addition to talk therapy, I provide a variety of art media to those interested in expressive arts. I have found that teens are especially responsive to using art as a form of therapeutic expression. I am client lead and believe the relationship we form is key to your healing. It’s difficult to stay connected to our own needs in such a fast paced, tech driven culture. I will help to slow down the thought process and identify areas for growth. The body holds wisdom; developing the skill to tune in to the body’s messages is infinitely healing. Using art, nature, and movement can help to channel emotion in the most positive ways.
