Hello! Welcome! My name is Katherine Baker, LMFT, but you might call me a transformer, a fear buster, a builder of connections and a birther of women power. I help women who want to feel empowered to trust their intuition but feel stuck, powerless to pick themselves up out to the messiness of their lives. I work specifically with women and girls who feel unsafe in their bodies, irritated, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from their power and have drama filled relationships and they go from relationships, friendships or jobs seeking happiness. Women who have given away all of their personal power because of fear. Childhood trauma shows up in adulthood. Fear, feeling insecure, irritability, insomnia or nightmares, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, experiencing guilt, shame, self-blame and feeling disconnected or numb. I’m trained in Trauma Informed Yoga, EMDR and I start your body. We are best able to overcome trauma, starting not with the mind but rather the body. You may have worked with other therapists in the past and did not find the healing you were looking for. It’s not your fault! The problem is other therapists offer trauma healing through working with the mind. After 2-3 sessions working with me, you will feel more in control of your emotions, less overwhelmed and more empowered to take control of your life.
