Therapist Overview

Congratulations on taking steps to getting support! Therapy is a way to not feel so alone with our pain, change our thoughts and behaviors so they are more adaptive and healthy, and allow us to live in a more expansive way. I see you as the expert on you, and my role as an expert in healing, together we collaborate to get you where you want to be in life. Brain science, attachment theory (childhood relationship with our caregivers), and the context of our culture (as it intersects with our identities) are the lenses I use to strengthen your awareness, feel feelings, and heal. Laughter and peace are a necessary part of healing too! I completed EMDR basic training through the Parnell Institute and work with “Big T” traumas, which include serious injury, sexual violence, or life threatening situations. I specialize in attachment-focused EMDR which helps heal relationship based trauma and complex trauma. Art therapy offers unique way to express yourself and is a tool of healing. Trust take
