Therapist Overview

ANXIETY is one of the most common reasons people seek counseling. Do you feel on-edge or restless? Do worries and fears keep you up at night as your mind wrestles with the unknown? Do you experience bodily aches, nausea, pain or tension in response to stressors? These are symptoms of anxiety. Helping clients overcome feelings of anxiety is the focus of my practice. As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), I use both neuroscience and traditional therapy techniques to help clients manage anxious feelings and regain their quality of life. There is no reason to suffer and struggle in silence. I can help you. My experience as a high school mental health counselor enables me to help teens deal with social and academic-induced anxiety. I teach teens coping and stress management skills that empower them to maximize academic performance, minimize procrastination, exercise self-advocacy, and resolve the inevitable social snags.
